That’s me. Paul Pellerito. I’m a writer, blogger, geek, dreamer, pharmacy technician, and a whole lot more than just adjectives.
I just bought my first couch not too long ago. I consider this to be a pivotal moment in my life. I have things now. Things that it takes more than just my car to move—I’ve had a car since I was 16, I don’t really think about it much—which sort of ties me down here a bit I guess. Here is Kalamazoo, Michigan–a place I never really thought I’d end up in but it seems I’m stuck here for a little while.
I dream of being a playwright. I blog about being a slacker, mostly.
Me, five days after I quit. I had a job interview, so I got my hair cut and trimmed my beard.
On 21 August 2009 I quit my job of thirteen years and eight months. It felt like I’d gotten out of a bad relationship something like an abuse marriage. Or I’d escaped from a Turkish Prison. Or both, really.
This blog not only chronicles the past seven years of my life, it’s also going to serve as a chronicle of my time being Unemployed in America, down & out, etc.
