the windup and the pitch

I just had a job interview that was less about me selling myself and more about him selling his business to me, like he was trying to convince me that I needed to go work for him. What a pleasant experience–to be in demand!

I’m cautiously optimistic. It will be exceptionally nice to be in a community practice setting instead of a grocery store.

Also, I want a Domino’s bread bowl pasta. I wonder if I can figure out how to make it on my own.

hmmm

I have an interview tomorrow. I haven’t been to a real live job interview in years and years. I hope I do okay.

I feel like I’m coming down with something, tho. I just hope it’s not swine flu. Hahahaha

happy hubble day

The Hubble Space Telescope as seen from Space Shuttle Columbia during Servicing Mission 3B (STS-109)

Nineteen years ago (tomorrow) the Hubble Space Telescope was launched aboard Discovery on STS-31. The Hubble, as you should know, was a milestone for astronomy, and it’s still bringing us spectacular images from outer space today.

See some of these amazing images here.

It’s interesting to still see stuff like this on the internet
dumb

It brings me back to these days:
Netscape now!

But those days are done. Most modern browsers (even IE 6+) have a fairly decent support for CSS. So as long as you’re not using the <BLINK> tag (please don’t) there’s no reason why your site should be “best viewed” in a certain browser. This one even looks good in Opera Mini on my phone. So…

Best viewed with your eyes.
